How it works
Do you have a shop in Nairobi I can visit?
No. There is no walk-in counter. You send the item and the size on WhatsApp, we quote for your exact size and quantity, and we deliver to your site. You can do it all from your phone.
What is in your quote
How do I order lifting equipment in Nairobi?
Send the item and the size on WhatsApp. Your quote shows the item, its size and grade, the standard it is made to if it has one, the lead time and the delivery cost. You see all of it before you pay, and the quote holds for seven days. How we work explains each step.
Sourced to order
Can you get equipment that is not listed on the website?
Yes. Plate clamps, beam clamps and trolleys, lifting magnets, spreader beams, crane scales, wire rope pullers, cargo nets, hand winches and bottle jacks are quoted on request. Items not available locally are imported to order.
Rated, or not rated
Rated gear has a grade, a working load limit and a mark on the body. Unrated steel can look the same and costs less. Grade 80 is lifting chain. Galvanised is a finish, not a grade. Rated fittings are drop-forged and marked. Malleable cast fittings are not rated for lifting.
Where we draw the line
Will you calculate the working load limit for my lift?
No. We do not calculate working load limits, and we do not tell you what capacity your load needs. Those figures come from the maker's tables and from the person in charge of the lift.
A lashing capacity is not a lifting rating. We never sell a lashing as a lifting sling.
Cutting and inspection
Do you cut rope and chain to length?
We cut wire rope only, and both sides of the cut are seized first. For chain and fibre rope, tell us the size you need and we quote it.
Do you certify lifting equipment?
No. We do not certify equipment. A thorough examination must be done by a registered plant examiner, not by the seller.
