Zipline, ropes course and adventure park construction in Kenya
Who builds ziplines and ropes courses in Kenya?
Belay Rigging is a zipline company in Kenya. Our team designs, builds and installs ziplines, high and low ropes courses, obstacle courses, playground equipment, outdoor gyms and other outdoor adventure facilities for resorts, camps, schools, estates and training grounds across Kenya. Our longest finished zipline runs 250 m. If you are building your own, we supply the cable and the hardware. It starts with a message on WhatsApp, or a site visit.

What we build
Pick one, or put several on one site. Each card opens WhatsApp with the build already filled in. If what you want is not here, send us the idea.

Ziplines we have built
Which ziplines have you built in Kenya?
Our finished lines include these three.
- KESAL. A 250 m zipline, the longest we have built.
- Paradise Lost. A 200 m zipline.
- Beketa. A 150 m zipline.
Tell us the length you have in mind and we can tell you how it compares.

Do you build playgrounds and outdoor gyms in Kenya?
Yes. Our team builds and installs playground equipment for schools, estates, hotels and homes.
Outdoor gym equipment is a set of park fitness machines on steel posts, set on rubber tiles, for estates, schools and parks.
Send the town, the space you have and who it is for, and we plan it with you.
What playground equipment do you build for schools?
Swings, low rope nets, small bridges, short low zip lines, cargo net climbs, climbing towers and obstacle courses. We plan the mix around the space and the age of the children.
Ask about a playground or gymGetting a quote
What do you need to know to quote a zipline?
Five things. Send them on WhatsApp and we can tell you what the job needs before anyone travels.
- Span. How far the line runs, from the start to the end.
- Height drop. How much lower the end is than the start.
- Rider weight range. The lightest and the heaviest rider you expect.
- Anchor type. Trees, steel posts or a building.
- Town. Where the site is.
Rough figures are fine. For a ropes course or any other build, send the town, what the site is used for, and a few phone photos of the ground.
Ask about a zipline jobBook a site visit
Before we quote a full build, our team visits the site. We measure it, check the ground and the anchor points, and go through the plan with you.
- Nairobi: KSh 3,000.
- Anywhere else in Kenya: you cover our team's return travel and meals. We confirm the cost for your town before we book.
- Overnight trips: accommodation is agreed with you before we travel.
Send your town and the dates that suit you. We confirm the visit and send the payment details in the same WhatsApp thread.
Book a site visitBuilding it yourselves
Can you supply the cable and hardware if we build it ourselves?
Yes. The cable comes from our wire rope range, cut to your length. Clips, thimbles, shackles and turnbuckles are on rigging hardware.
We also supply trolleys, braking systems, harnesses, helmets, lanyards and connectors. Put the whole list in one message and we quote it together.
When you build it yourselves, the design and the loads are for your own engineer to sign off.
Ask for zipline kitZip line installation cost
How much does it cost to build a zipline in Kenya?
Builds run from about KSh 50,000 for a short backyard line for children to about KSh 10 million for a long commercial line. It depends on the site, so there is no single price.
The span and the height drop set the length of cable and the height of the posts. The ground decides how the posts go in.
The platforms, the braking and the number of lines add to the cost, and so does the distance to the site.
Send the five details under Getting a quote. We price the job from those and from the site visit.
Outside Nairobi
Do you build ziplines outside Nairobi?
Yes, anywhere in Kenya. We have built for resorts and for government organisations.
The site visit works the same way wherever you are. Outside Nairobi, you cover our team's travel and meals, and we confirm the cost with you before we go.
A long job away from Nairobi is planned around the site, so tell us early if the dates are fixed.
Ropes courses, obstacle courses and more
Do you build high and low ropes courses?
Yes. A high ropes course runs between trees or poles, with bridges, nets and beams up high and a cable above each crossing to clip onto.
A low ropes course sits close to the ground and suits school groups and team building.
You can put a zipline, a ropes course, an obstacle course and a climbing tower on one site, and one visit and one quote cover them all. For anything else, like a treetop walk or a training course, send us the idea.
Tell us what you want to build
Send the town and the build you have in mind. We reply on WhatsApp and book a site visit from there.
